seeing precious friends....

yesterday, we traveled down to perkinston to mississippi gulf coast community college to watch their homecoming game against undefeated copiah-lincoln community college. it was such a good game - so much defense! but gulf coast came up with the win (23-3). we were so proud!

our friend, josh richardson, plays for gulf coast. if you have been reading my blog for the past few years, then you've read about jeremy and the special relationship we have with their family. if not, please go HERE or HERE or HERE or HERE or HERE to read posts i've done in the past about jeremy. actually, those posts are done in order, so if you start with the 1st and go through the 5th, you'll know the whole story! josh is jeremy's little brother.

it was so good to see mr richardson, mrs charlotte, jeremy, josh, and joseph. not to mention the other sweet people that we met. God has worked through Jeremy's tragic injury to bring our families together, and we do not take that for granted. they are an amazing family who love the Lord and through Him love my little girl, who they call their little angel.

please continue to pray for jeremy. the injury was just over two years ago (september 13, 2008) and he saw the video of the game for the first time a few weeks ago. he said it was incredibly hard for him to watch. i can't imagine. it was hard enough seeing it happen from the stands.
