No surprise, June was busy just like every. single. other. month. of our lives. Stock full of memories that are forever etched in my mind and heart! So here we go!
What says summer more than kids drawing on sidewalks with chalk? Loved pulling up to this one afternoon!
Summer reading book number one out of the way!
Mama's night with some of my favorites!
We celebrated national donut day...
...and went to Anna's 13th birthday party. Granted the drive took nearly 45 minutes longer because of a storm, but we made it!
MP's best friend had a lot of baseball...which you'll see throughout the pics!
In between games, we went to the outlet mall and in a moment of weakness, Tommy let MP get her ears pierced!
We love getting to watch these boys play ball!
MP went to church camp with our children's ministry, soul station...
Tommy's Aunt Dot passed away the Monday that MP left for came and his Uncle Colbert died that Tuesday. We went to camp for worship on Wednesdsy night and decided to bring her back home with us instead of waiting on her to get home Thursday.
Picking MP up...we were so ready to see our girl!
MP and Parker at Aunt Dot's funeral
After getting back from Aunt Dot's funeral, we headed to Greenwood for our annual night at the Alluvian!
Uncle Colbert's funeral was in Carthage and he is buried close to where my father-in-law is...it's always emotional for Tommy...oh how we wish he knew MP!
More baseball!
Blair decided he wanted to go to ball games, too...
Rainbows appeared with nearly every shower that came and we were reminded right and left of God's promise!
We love the colors of summer!
We went to Mudbugs with the Brelands and the Boszor girls after an Express win...
MP had a wonderful 6th year of Summer Showoffs
The state tournament rolled around and was actually a welcome weekend in town after all of the funerals, etc, the week before!
We hated to see the season come to an end!
Basketball camp started at JA
MP got to see a few teachers at my office in the mornings before camp
MP's 3 on 3 and 5 on 5 teams won the championship games at camp, she got hustler of the day one day, and was in the top 5 for free throw, hot shot, and 1 on 1! It was a great week!
I let Cade and MP have a "yes" day that was awesome. "Yes" day is when I try to not use the word "no" at all. The day consisted of: Moss Creek Fish House for lunch, Bass Pro, yogurt, Under Armour, Finding Dory, and an MBraves game. I think I had as much fun as they did!
We went to Cape Girardeau, Missouri, to surprise a precious friend and her family at her wedding!
Us down at the riverfront
MP with beautiful Andrea
Sweet Ashley, MP, and me
MP and Evy Kate!
Cade brought us detergent we had bought (a fundraiser to help his team go to Cooperstown, NY, next year!)
And we finished the month with a dinner date at one of all time favorite spots, Bill's
July, you've got a lot to live up to if you're going to top June! BUT, I've seen the calendar and think you just might do it!!!
