thursday night, i went with my friend sherry to easely amused. granted it had been less than a week since i went and did the "sweet georgia brown" painting, when she asked me to go to paint "shake your tailfeather", i could not pass it up. easely amused has got a great thing going and if you haven't been, it's past time for you to sign up!
so we were in the "inaugural class" for this one, too. both of the paintings i have done have been the first class. guess i have guinea pig across my head!
i've got 3 more classes that i'm signed up for - seriously, it's good therapy! and i guess i could give these 16x20 pictures as gifts if i don't want to keep them! =)
the next class i'm doing is called "poppy don't preach". it's going to be the last class of this painting offered before they "retire" it for 3-4 months. then, the week of Easter, they are offering one called "the wonderous Cross". i can't wait to do this one! they opened up 2 classes for this one and one was already booked up!
the last one that i'm signed up for is the day before mother's day. it's a mother/daughter painting time that mama and i are going to do together. kim and her mom are doing it, too, so we'll have a good time!
