I have debated saying this, but here goes...

Many women do not realize that ALL birth control pills are abortifacent. They do not prevent conception 100% of the time. In fact, some research suggests that only 70% of the time conception is avoided. Other times the uterus is simply too thin to allow the embryo to implant and your body miscarries it. It feels and seems to be like a normal period.

I was under the impression that only some pills are like this and began researching them after reading an article about birth control in Parent Life and then reading the book "Lies Women Believe". I talked to my ob gyn in further depth and she confirmed what I found by googling it.

low hormone pills are the safest for us BUT are the least effective in preventing pregnancy and the majority of these pg are tubal ones. I just think that bc pills are scary in general. Why take the risk?

To add to the girls above. I stopped taking birth control simply because they made my migraine headaches 10x worse.
Then later in life I discovered these horrible facts about the miscarriage. I think it's something each one of us should really search our hearts about.

I hated those things...took them the first 3 years of our marriage. After Kat, I refused to go back...which is why Banana is only 14 months younger! haha. But still, I'd never take them again...luckily don't have to worry about that anymore...
