tommy and mary peyton decided to play with some things in los cinco soles. the little drum thing that tommy is playing with we actually bought for mary peyton's music teacher, mrs. rootbeer! ok, so that really isn't her name. it's mrs. revere. but the kids all call her mrs. rootbeer!

mary peyton covered her head and said, "daddy's taking for long!". yes, she says "for long" when she is telling you that something isn't fast enough. i just laughed and took a picture!
us in our dune buggy that tommy got us for the day! they only had 2 that were automatic - everything else was standard. i'm glad we asked for it when we did!
tommy having a blast. he said that it didn't have much power steering, though. and the windshield wipers didn't work. other than that, we were good! =)
this was before we went through the rain the first time! it actually didn't get us that wet! i was more paranoid about my camera, etc., getting wet. but we were good! mp was having a ball!
the next 3 pictures are of punta sur. this was down towards the southwestern tip of cozumel. and i would love to just go back tomorrow if i could! it was amazing!

tommy and mp looking for shells. they found one that was really neat. i warned them that there may be something in it. tommy insisted it was fine. well, fast forward a little bit....after he has had it in his pocket for a while.....he pulls it out, screams, and throws it in the water. i ask what the deal was and he says, "there was a little animal in there!". um, that's what i said!
i was taking pictures when tommy noticed this little crab in an area that kept filling up with water when waves would wash up. he was too cute!
this is one of my favorite pictures of the two of them! i love how she i looking out and he is looking down at her.....it makes me want to freeze time!
mary peyton loved these little pooling areas and decided to just see what all she could find in this one......
the only picture that mp and i took at the beach. the rest of the time i was snapping pictures. i didn't even set my bag down in this picture!
ok - for those of you who really know how much mp and i LOVE our coffee - can you believe that we walked right by this starbucks and took a picture, but did not go in and get coffee? what in the world were we thinking?
mary peyton was ready to get started! in fact, getting her "hair decoration" was the only thing she wanted to do in cozumel. as soon as we got off of the boat, she started looking for places that would do it. we made her wait until we got into town. at that point, she was still adamant that she was ready to find somewhere, so we did!
it was so neat watching the lady wrap mary peyton's hair. mp said that it pulled "just a little" but that she "wasn't going to cry about it". =)
we chose ja colors since school was about to start - and the design was so pretty! she's talented!
i love this picture of her - it shows her eyes so well! i will never be able to explain to you how excited she was to get this done!!!

mary peyton took this anniversary picture of us! i didn't think she did that bad of a job! at tommy's request, we had lunch at hard rock cafe. yes, we went to cozumel to eat at hard rock. go figure!
we hung out at margaritaville for a little while with michael, tisha, molly beth, allen, and annclaire. it was awesome - they had an area to lay out on the deck, snorkel equipment with life vests etc, a big ladder going down to the ocean, and the pads you see in the picture below were anchored down! we didn't want to leave!!!

***warning: i do not have many pictures from calica yet because we were at a water park all day and i strictly used an underwater camera. so i've got to get the pictures developed and have a disc made when i do - then i'll download the pics on the disc to my computer and put them on the blog! i know you're SO disappointed! ha***
