today was one of those good days. where things just seemed to flow and everything seemed o.k.
tommy and mary peyton went to church to the "dads and dolls tea party" this morning. i had so much fun watching my baby get all dressed up and excited about going to a party with her daddy. pictures to follow when i get them downloaded!
on their way to the church, they dropped me off at primo's to meet chasity for breakfast. it was good to just see a friend and catch up some. she has been teaching in "soul station" at church (for our elementary students), so i don't get to see her like i used to!
after primos, we went to polk's and then headed to canton to go to the linen shop. today they had 15% off and no tax! gotta love that! the picture below is actually the logo to "the linen shop" somewhere in CT. but i thought it was cute!i got some fabric for both my dining room and kitchen tables and the edging/tassles to go on them. as soon as i got home from canton, i called the lady who is sewing for me (if you ever need someone in madison/ridgeland/gluckstadt, please let me know! she is great!) and got her to come by.
last year i bought fabric. lots and lots of fabric. for curtains in my kitchen, den, to recover a chair, etc., etc. well, this year i've decided it's time to do something WITH the fabric! so she came and measured, we discussed what i wanted, and now it's a work in progress! i'm so excited!
after mrs bonita left, tommy and i went into town to run a few errands. dinner came up and we had both wanted beagle bagel last night, but realized it too late (they close at 8:00 and we thought about it too close to that time!). so tonight we got there plenty early! it was GREAT! if you haven't been - GO! we are so fortunate to have a beagle bagel in madison!!!

after beagle bagel, i asked tommy if he would drop me off at the movies. dear john had a starting time of 7:10. well, i got there and (go figure) it was SOLD OUT. i looked up at the schedule and "when in rome" also had a start time of 7:10, so i went to it.it was such a cute movie! i should have let tommy and mp go in with me (but i thought i was going to dear john...). it's something they could watch. and i would go see it again, so if you are thinking of going, let me know!
now on to another sunday! i'm subbing for a friend of mine (i hope you're feeling better, ash!) in her sweet class (2 year olds!), then lifegroup (sunday school), lunch, and going to (TRY) to see dear john at 1:10! tomorrow is already full, but it's all enjoyable things!
going to bed - hope you've all had a great day!
