we are in the Delta for Easter - the first time we have been here since Christmas...well, except for Robyn and Cecil's wedding in february, but that was only for a few hours - up for the wedding/reception and straight back to madison...
good grief.
mp is pretty competitive. that can be a good trait, right? i mean really - she wouldn't do anything in the church away from me (not knowing everybody, etc), but when they opened the door and told the kids to go out to the playground to hunt eggs, she was the first one out there. and we got WAY too many eggs! those pictures are on my camera, so when i get them downloaded, i'll add a few!
we went back to my mom's for a little while and then we went to eat at lusco's. i love lusco's but tommy had never been! it was a much needed date night and we had a great time! and it was nice having a babysitter! that's the bad thing about jackson - if we were in greenwood, we'd have babysitters all over the place!!!
we came out to my daddy's after picking mpb up and the Easter bunny came here.

mp loved her stuff. an umbrella is always a must for little girls, right? so the Easter bunny brought her one! also, a few books - one max lucado and the other is a Bible story book. a little stuffed bunny - good grief. she saw this in barnes & noble for the past month and when she saw it in her basket, she said, "i KNEW the Easter bunny would bring the bunny from barnes & noble!". i'm glad, too, because somehow i think she would have asked about this!
today we will go to church at my home church and follow worship with dinner at grandmama's. just like always. i love consistency and tradition. mary peyton will be wearing her dress from jeremy. i can't wait to see her in it. it's just got so much meaning to us. a sweet friendship that shows the testimony of a small child. this afternoon, we will head back in and have supper with my mom. then on to see the britt's before heading back to madison and the rat race.
i hope you all have a wonderful day!
HE IS RISEN!
HE IS RISEN INDEED!
Happy Easter~Tommy, Suzanne, and Mary Peyton

You just let MP get to know me a little better and I will babysit her anytime you and Tommy want a date night. My boys would adore getting to spoil her!
omgosh! mary peyton looks SO much older in this pic for some reason. i guess she's just growing up! :)
