why, oh why?

am i thinking that there's NOTHING to blog about? have i lost my mind!?!?!

today was my birthday eve. and i got a few good gifts! my sweet friend, peggy (who serves as my mama at work!), had a gift from the body shop waiting on me when i got to work. it's a set of foot lotions, etc., that i've got to con tommy into using!

then, my sweet friend robyn sent me a cake book! her new fiance' is a patient of mine and he brought it to his appointment. while he was there, i called robyn to thank her and we're going to have dinner tomorrow night for my birthday!

i got a birthday card from my mother-in-law. she's always so good to us.

tonight tommy took mary peyton to one of his alma maters for a football game - holmes played east mississippi. they just got back and mary peyton was already asleep.

i would have gone, but i had cakes to do. it was kind of nice just being here and doing things at my own leisure.

tomorrow will be the "big day". mary peyton has already told me that she wants to have lunch at our favorite - "bon ma-mee". so we will. and then we'll go to build-a-bear for her to get some "kitty cat" (hello kitty) pajamas like the ones rivers got her bear. mary peyton hasn't forgotten that, row! and i've used it to my advantage - reminding her that it would be her prize for good behavior this week! it worked!

so now i've got to go. i have to put one last cake in the oven before i can go to sleep!
