so for my birthday, my friend robyn gave me this cookbook. um - it will be put to use!

when we were home, i went to mississippi gift company and got these two cookbooks (here again - go figure - i was shopping the SALE rack and got them half off!)

the first one is "down home: treasured recipes from our house to yours" fromt the west point junior auxiliary. honestly, i liked the cover. but there are some good recipes, too!
the second one is "cedar point palette: a gallery of southern recipes" from the girl scouts of northwest mississippi. i was a girl scout, so i liked this! but also, it has a lot of neat recipes in it - some even very simple for children to be able to help!
so now i've got to get ready to leave for work - just thought i'd share this with you!
have a wonderful day - and say a prayer for jeremy if you think about it! =)
