more little wedding things

i took these pictures when i was in minter city this past weekend. just some things from our wedding. each one is explained right above the picture...

obviously this is just a "drop in the bucket" of the things we had at our wedding, but i love them!

this was our invitation. here again (if you've read my other "wedding" post - i didn't want anything white - all ivory/off white). my parents are now divorced - i never knew how much i would appreciate that my invitations were able to say "mr and mrs john edward smith" instead of "ms beverly chrismond smith and mr john edward smith". maybe it's just me being an only child - but i am glad that my parents were married when i married. not that any of the divorce has been easy, but at least i didn't have to deal with it through planning a wedding and all, you know?

anyway - this was our invitation (sorry to ramble...)

the front of our program. i wanted something "classic" that i would always like - and i still do! i like this program as much now as i did 7 years ago!

this was the inside of the back of our program - just our little note to everybody.

at the reception, little girls (my little cousins) gave out little bells and we had our own thing typed up to go with them - and the ribbon had our names and wedding date. when we left, though, all of the people ringing them sounded like cowbells - i just laughed!

and finally - something i had talked about in an earlier post - this was my ring bearer's pillow. i love it. granny (aunt doris) even put my name and tommy's name at the top (stitched it) and our wedding date. on the back are her initials (d.b.) - again, stitched. this pillow was made from the same fabric and lace that mary key's dress was. i loved it all!
hopefully that is all of the wedding posts.................thanks for letting me reminisce!

Our wedding program looked just like yours on the front!!

SO, I of course love yours LOL.

I made my parents who had just gotten divorced allow me to put their names together as if they were still married. It bothered me as well to do it the other way.
