i love all of them! but tonight was an especially sweet one to me!
we were getting ready to go to bed and mary peyton was still in the kitchen with me. she told me that she wanted to hear my music - which is 105.1 (the oldies station) when we're in the house because it's one of the few stations that the cd player/radio in the kitchen will get!
heatwave was on.
mary peyton and i danced.
then another oldie - i don't know the name of it.
we kept dancing.
and dancing.
just giggling the whole time.
i twirled her and she twirled me. i felt like i was kate hudson on "raising helen" when they are all jumping around dancing to "whip-it".
i hope that we can always have fun like this - and that she always likes dancing around after dinner with her mama. she'll never know how good it makes me feel to see the smile on her face while she holds my hand.

That is a "blink" moment. You "blink" to capture that memory in your head. I love "blink" moments. Things you can't capture with a camera, but that you won't ever forget.

so sweet. sometimes when precious things like this happen with me and the boys i can actually feel myself trying to absorb the moment so i can think back on it one day when i'm old.
Awww! Too cute! I love the new look and this picture of Mary Peyton. Hey , I've got a question...When y'all took the nearly wed/newly wed class with us- way way back, what were you and Tommy in the personality test? And do you remember why they were all animals? I can't find it in our old books, but I remember that they also had videos and other supplimental materials, so maybe it wasn't even in the book.
You'll remember these little moments WAY more than the multitudes of recitals, school programs, and church events. Although every one is special.....there's something about those random ones that stick out so much more!!! Precious!
