some pictures from mary peyton's birthday party...

it's only been 3 weeks - that's an acceptable amount of time, right? here they finally are - some pictures from each aspect of mary peyton's birthday party. except that there were so so many cute kids here - it would take me forever to upload the pictures of each of them! i did take a picture - up close - of each one's little face. it will be so sweet to see the changes in these precious faces over the years!

i love this picture of mary peyton. she was just outside playing, but you can see her bright (BROWN) eyes and sweet smile. i love seeing pictures where her eyes are open big because until she was about a year old, they were a beautiful blue. mine were blue for a few years - they didn't change as quickly as her's did. anyway - i'm getting off subject...

"opening" the last of her presents. i got this kitchen for her at pottery barn during Christmas (when i make my annual trip to memphis the day after Christmas). it was hidden in our storage room since then and i wanted so many times to give it to her! she is enjoying it so much!

with her cake - notice she looks happier about it than jude does! i always make her cake to match the outfit she is wearing. each year has been this way - i just wanted something different that i wouldn't ese at every other party we went to, you know?

after the party..........we always release the balloons from her party. we tell her that we are sending them up to heaven to her pap-paw barnette. this year she half-way understood.

our family. i have been blessed beyond measure!

Sweet, precious pictures!!!! She is getting so pretty...looking like a little girl instead of a baby. (I know you probably don't want to hear that.)

Love the cake!

I remember when my girls got kitchens for their birthdays....sigh....now they cook in MY kitchen. Then again, that's not so bad either!
