my friend, leigha, finally got to come home today. she is the one who was in the hospital because of blood clots linked to her birth control.
she was in there from last wednesday until today. and only saw her little girl (who is almost 2) 1 time during the ordeal! i would have gone CRAZY!
oh - and she/i both said that we will never be on birth control again! i told her about christy's comments (read in comments below). i will say that i have not read the articles she included, but just the information in the comment convicted me. i, for one, am glad that the pill is not a part of my daily routine!

Do you know what birth control pills she was on? I just wanted to know if they were the same ones I was one when I had blood clots.

if i am not mistaken, she told me she was on ortho tri cyclen lo.

Oh, I just found your blog passing through. I love your blog! Your little girl is precious! I was just concerned about your friend and wondered what birth control she was on! Looks like you are very talented with the cakes!
