here we go again!

o.k. so it all started a few weeks ago with me cleaning out closets. remember? that friday that i questioned if i was a horrible mom?

well, fast forward a few weeks.

i decided that i'd better get on with this cleaning. i mean, tommy isn't exactly going to be able to lift heavy stuff, climb on the ladder, etc., to help me, so i've got to get all of it done before next friday!

yesterday when i got home from work, we did the storage room and straightened up the garage. note that i didn't say CLEANED. i said straightened up. and that's fine for now! at least everything is orderly.

so this morning i got up and baked a cake. while it was baking, i did it. i went in the laundry room. and that's huge. for some reason, our laundry room kinda became a junk hole.

there.

i admitted it.

but it's because when i need to "stash" something (be honest - you ALL know what i'm talking about. someone's about to come over and you've got "that" pile - the one you HAVE to go through, but keep putting off...it's got to be "stashed" SOMEWHERE.) it all goes in the laundry room.

no more.

i vow to just leave it on the kitchen table until i GO THROUGH IT.

i've thrown away more junk this morning. and it's such a great feeling!

oh - and last week i used mary key to help me go through mary peyton's clothes and sort everything out. i've got my 1 box of things i'm keeping and 5 bags of stuff that i've got to get rid of. now if i can sort through it.......
