at least it has a happy ending...

thought i'd share a story with my blog-world family.

friday night, i went to meet someone with a cake around 7:30. mary peyton was here with her daddy in nothing but her panties, which is no big deal since she wasn't going anywhere. she said that she would stay here with daddy to "take care of him" while i delivered the cake. sweet girl!

we just left the garage door open because i was coming right back anyway.

tommy wanted one of the little caesar's $5.55 pizzas for supper, so i went by there after dropping off the cake.

i came home to people swarming me like i was a celebrity. mary peyton and tommy were BOTH ready for pizza.

so somewhere in the middle of my first slice, tommy decides to tell me a quick story.

he was on the couch after i left and just dozed off a little bit. mary peyton was running around - playing like normal.

all of a sudden, he heard knocks on our front door. he got himself up and crutched over to the front door only to be greeted by: doug and kathy (our across the street neighbors) and mary peyton.

oh. my. gosh.

my child had gone out the back door and around to the front of the house and thank goodness she got the attention of doug and kathy before someone else got her!

we were so thankful that they were there and brought her back.

note to self: no matter what the daddy says, it's NOT o.k. for him to watch mary peyton while he is under the influence of lortab - even if it is for just a few minutes.

oh - and remember...........she was in nothing but her panties.

geez............guess we're the neighborhood rednecks.......

so we can call her the streak now, huh?
