and, as most of you know, it's not me - it's tommy. mary katherine, sound familiar?
tommy hurt his knee playing football his senior year at jackson academy. he didn't go to the doctor at that time, but saw the trainer and they thought everything was fine.
then basketball season rolled around. and it finished him.
lately, though, the pain has been unbearable. so he did it.
he called and made an appointment with dr jay o'mara. he saw him monday and then went back for an MRI today and scheduled surgery for friday, april 4th.
the verdict? torn discoid lateral meniscus.
so pray for us - and that he's not such a bad patient (mainly after he gets home!!!).

Dont worry......been there several times..Just watch out for the morphine....makes you vomit....YUCK....you will be fine....Ill be thinking about you. Let me know if you need anything.

yuck. i hate it for tommy. but misery loves company right?
im jealous that he only has to have the arthroscopic! =) he will be fine after a couple of weeks!
i tore the lateral meniscus with my other ACL in high school...
this time is the medial (along with ACL and MCL)
does he have to do any rehab? maybe we will rehab together!!!!
Kiley had that same surgery on his knee and he says it was not all that bad. But we will be in prayers for you all.
