they were both orphaned kittens. tiger was born in a woodpile of a family in madison. at the time, kim and i were roommates and she HAD to have a cat. i didn't oppose it - i had inside cats my whole life! well - i took to tiger more than she did and within about 2 months, she wanted a dog - and she's still got a sweet black lab - abby.
little bit was just that. little bitty!!! we were in batesville at my cousin's house and i heard a kitten by the tree. well, trey said for me to take it - but it was his neighbor's! they also said it was o.k. she was not even weined yet. a dog down the road had killed her mother and the rest of the litter. there was no way i could leave this kitten to be the next one gone!! so tommy reluctantly let me bring her home.
fast forward - tiger is now 7 1/2 and little bit is almost 6. they are the best of friends - it's so cute to watch them together!!! tiger is "mine" and little bit is "tommy's". at least that's what he says. i have to admit - tiger sleeps on my side with me. who knows where little bit is. but every night when we get in the bed, i mean EVERY night, she climbs up and stretches out on tommy's chest and they "talk". no kidding. you can say, "what, bit bit? what is it?" and she will try to talk. it's insane, really. i wish i knew how to video and put it on here.......
below is tiger in "his" place on the bed. i have to admit - he's a big ole cat!!! but SO sweet - he even puts up with mary peyton climbing all over him - for the most part!!!
so now you've seen them. my sweet babies. oh - and their weight? the last time we weighed them, tiger was around 22 lbs and bit bit was about 17. yep - the term "fat cat" comes to mind.....

I LOVE it!!!!
I am glad that Tiger has a good home. He has got the good life!
I think they may be starving though, you need to feed them more!
Those are REALLY big cats!
They are so cute.
