well, to be honest, when i sit down at this computer, i get a little frustrated. things just don't work the way they used to. i mean......
we have DSL, right? o.k. so why in the world does the internet shut down when someone calls our house? isn't that why i'm paying for DSL and not dialup? just wondering.
also....
why do half of the sites not work right? the wording is bigger than normal and all out of wack. i get the infamous "error on page" message down in the bottom left corner. i'm kinda tired of it all if you know what i mean.
if you've been reading long, you know that i'm trying to get all of my pictures uploaded to some website out in cyberspace so that i can get to them at any time in case this old dell blows up. well, it's kinda hard to upload them when i can't get it started for fear that someone is going to call and interrupt the process.
what's a girl to do?
hopefully, i can get a new laptop sometime. then the problems start with it. i mean.....who is going to transfer all of the files that i have on this computer to the new one? and everything i see now has vista instead of windows. or something like that. i don't know. but it seems like everything i read is someone else not liking vista. great. just my luck. i'm between a rock and a hard place.
on a lighter note....my 30th birthday is 2 weeks from today. you'll notice my "month of presents" list over on the right. let's see if tommy actually does it. i think i've got him worried. he doesn't understand that not everything has to be something that is bought. but whatever. we'll see.........just keep checking the list to the right as the month goes on!
i'm posting this now considering the freaking computer has already kicked me offline once and the phone didn't even ring.
oh wait...........don't let me leave out the fact that both, yes BOTH, of our toilets are messed up. i need to get away.......

Yeah, Vista is not all its cracked up to be...not yet, anyway. We've had SEVERAL issues with it, but they are supposedly working on patches, etc. to fix all that. We'll see.
Guess where we are going tomorrow???
I think it is contagious. My computer is acting up and one of my toilets is broken!
So, I feel your pain.
ok here I am commenting. computer have gremlins in them don't you know that and for that matter so do toliets. now it is your turn.
