well, the "month of gifts" begins tomorrow. actually in less than 2 hours, but who's counting? it's hard to believe that it really is almost here. wow.
tommy and i had a good and bad night tonight. we went to hillcrest to watch them play pillow (my alma mater). my little cousin, wilson, is a senior and plays. HE SCORED A TOUCHDOWN!!!!!!!!!!! i was SO proud! and pillow ended up winning 42 - 0. not such a close game.....but pray for a player from hillcrest. he was hurt mid-way through the game and taken to the hospital by ambulance.
however........jackson academy didn't have such a good showing on our new field. jackson prep came over and beat the raiders 24 - 6.
but hey....at least pillow won! guess i can smile.....too bad it wasn't sept 1st - that could be my present from wilson for day 1!!!

I showed Clay the list and told him that he has a few years to plan for this. He already looked pale at the suggestion. Poor guy.
