is it so terribly wrong for me to think that the whole reason september has 30 days - not 29, not 31, not even 32, but 30 - is just for me......since i will be 30 in september? i started thinking about this last week sometime and just thought that maybe God wanted me to have a wonderful month! so i let my parents and tommy know that i think it would be a pretty neat idea for me to get a gift every day - 30 gifts for being 30 and 30 days in september. seems like a good idea to me! in a few weeks we'll see what they all thought of it.......
of course i've told tommy that he must not be having a surprise party for me because he hasn't placed an order for my cake yet. and he knows i'm ticky about my cakes, so i don't know who else would make it.....maybe roseann. holly would if she didn't have mac and south and live ALL the way in tupelo (she did make the last birthday cake that i had - it was a bulldog head with col rebel's body - we ate it in the grove!).
so we'll see how the month goes. i mean.....if i'm not having a party (which means he's saving some $$$ there), then the least he can do is get a little something every day, right? and i mean it can be anything - a trip to starbucks for coffee, a card, my grape juice (which i LOVE) ready in the car in the morning - anything!
BUT.....rubbing feet does not count. he already does this for me and mary peyton every night. now when we get in the bed, she automatically lays back on the pillow and puts her feet up while saying "mary's turn". it is the cutest thing! glad i taught her that - now she and i will always be spoiled!!!!!

I turned 30 last September, and somehow I didn't think of 30 gifts for 30 days to represent 30 years! That's a fabulous idea... (my primary love language is gifts if you can't tell!)
I also am a BIG fan of foot massages. Trey does a good job of doing them on a regular basis but I always want more. But that definitely does NOT count as a present.
Great idea! I will have to remember that next year when I turn 30. There are 30 days in June!
Rob will love you for giving me that idea! We found another house in Red Oak that we like, but still no word on whether our house has sold or not! See you soon!

I have just now trained Clay to get me a gift for my birthday...I am going to start planning now for my 30-I like the idea of a gift every day! I have five years to work on it!!
I'm not young, Kearsmom. But, at the same time, I'm not as old as you!!!
