HAPPY LATE BIRTHDAY, JULZ!

if you know me well at all, you know that one of my most precious friends moved half way around the world to south africa. yep. just packed up and moved. didn't really ask what i thought about it, although - rest assured - i let her know. i mean really....mark likes it here just as well! but anyway........she's there and happy and that's all that matters. (selfish voice inside my head is saying, "no it's not. what about all of us? she's got to come home. drag him across the water and set up camp here."). really, though, mark and his family/friends (we got to meet some of them at the wedding) are incredible people and i couldn't be happier for her.

BUT...

yesterday was her 29th birthday. i wish she was here so i could give her a present at least! but i'll keep everything stock-piled and when she's home, she'll be able to open things then.

SO...

happy (late) birthday, julia! for about 3 months, you've caught up with me! but then i'll be leaving the 20's and embarking on a new decade! i love you so much - you know that. and i can't wait to see you again.
