yesterday was roseann's birthday. most everyone who reads this blog will know this, but for those of you who don't know me/my family, i will explain. roseann and i are 1st cousins. her mom (brenda) and my mom are sisters. the ann in both of our names comes from my mom. the sue in my name comes from her mom. the rose in her name comes from her grandmother.
so there's the background.
anyway.......roseann has always been my role model. even now. when i was little, i wanted to be her. i loved going to stay with them in the summer, getting to go watch her lifeguard, hanging out with her and her friends, etc. she was (and still is) awesome.
she and her friends (and her brother) sometimes tortured me, but that's for another blog post. i don't have time tonight!
but whenever i need advice - whether it's something i need to hear or really don't want to - she is always there. we have shared a lot of good memories together - and long talks in the bed as we went to sleep.
i treasure our relationship so much and i am so lucky to have her as a cousin, mentor, and friend.

Okay, well, I want to scream now. I talked to sweet little Tech-no on the phone yesterday, oblivious to the fact it was her stinkin birthday!!! Man, I am a mean friend.

Well, all are TOO sweet. whoop, whoop! Another birthday down! Suz, your words are kind...the love is deep, memories well---what can I say. Sorry for the torture, but it went both ways...I guess we got what we both deserved...HA!!
