End of an era

Tommy has worked in downtown Jackson for about 10 years. Wachovia's main branch is in One Jackson Place (and he helped move them there when the bank was still SouthTrust). Well...Tommy's boss has decided that Tommy needs to be at a busier branch because of the licenses that he has worked so hard to get. A busier branch would put all of these "learnin's" to use! SO...Friday afternoon, Tommy had to bid farewell to the group that he has worked with for 5 1/2 years. We took "the girls" (see picture below) all 3 red roses as his going away present for them. We (myself included) really are going to miss this group of people.

But he starts tomorrow at the Wachovia branch on the corner of Ridgewood Road and Ridgewood Court. We are very excited about this move. It is MUCH closer to home. We will be working closer, so we can have lunch dates and actually have some time just for us. This branch holds more opportunities for Tommy's growth in the bank!

Please say a prayer for Tommy that everything will go smoothly in the transition. It's going to be the start of a whole new chapter!

Laura, Paula, and Tommy have been working together for the entire time that Tommy has been with SouthTrust/Wachovia. I'm sure there are lots of mixed emotions about this move!!!
