Mary Peyton was unusually good for the whole morning. She started getting a little restless at the end of the bridesmaid's luncheon, but by then it was after 1:00, so she was ready for a NAP! She fell asleep about 5 minutes after I started the car! Hope she's sleeping good...Round 2 starts today at 4:00 when we leave for the church, etc.
I wanted to go ahead and post some pictures from the bridesmaids luncheon. While cakes are baking tonight, I may post pictures from rehearsal/rehearsal supper. If I do that, I won't get behind!
Hope you enjoy these pictures.
Our table at the luncheon. All 3 of the tables were the same, but Julia's chair was "special" at her table. You will see a picture of it below..
Julia sat at a table with her mom, sisters, and grandmothers, as well as Mark's sister and his mother. Aren't the flowers on Julia's chair beautiful! She is going to use them tonight for her stand-in bride's bouquet. By the way...Mark does not want to go through rehearsal, so Tommy is going to be the stand-in groom!
Mary Peyton just trying to figure out why she isn't the "country club" type girl! Sorry, Mary Peyton!
The bridesmaids with the bride. Or at least half of them! Julia chose 3 friends to be bridesmaids. Her closest friend from elementary/high school (Glenn Morris Hengst), her closest friend from college (Kim Archie Deloach), and her closest "adult" friend (ME!). The other 3 bridesmaids are the sisters.
This is Julia's sister, Fran, and her daughter, Amanda. Amanda is going to be the junior bridesmaid. Isn't she adorable!!!!!
(Fran, this is better than the picture that I threatened to put on here!!)

Just a good one of Julz and me. I am going to miss her so much. You would think that I would have gotten used to her living there by now. But MARRIED!?! Now there's no turning back...
Like I said, Mary Peyton was unusually good during everything. I was so proud! Julia's Aunt Melissa gave Mary Peyton these cups/saucers/spoons to play with and she was content! Her own little private tea party!
These wooden animals came from South Africa and are Mary Peyton's gift for being in the wedding. Julz knew that I wanted some for her room (which has lots of animals in it)! We are so excited to have these. When I was little, my Daddy's sister and brother-in-law lived in Africa for a little while, so I have a set of elephants. All of our "African animals" will be combined in Mary Peyton's room.
Thanks, JULZ!!!
Stay tuned...........more to come.....
