I feel like we have been doing "basketball" forever, but actually it's only been last weekend and this weekend. Today, Pillow (girls) and MRA girls went at it again, this time for the state class aaa championship (they played several times during the regular season and also played for the division championship last weekend). Tommy said that this game was more physical than most of the boys games that he has seen lately! MRA ended up winning the game, but we (Pillow) still advance to the overalls and play next week! We are proud of you, Stella!
Our boys played in the consolation game tonight against East Rankin Academy. We lost in triple overtime! As much as I would have loved to be there (we had a Sunday School function), there is no way my nerves could have made it through that much basketball! And especially if Mary Peyton was with me! Although I have to say, she has been really good at the 3 games we were at this weekend. Anyway....the boys will also advance to the overall tournament next week.
