-our quick, crazy, impromptu trip to Disney in March of last year was one of my favorite trips we have done as a family. Seriously. We left on Thursday at lunch and were back Sunday night. And we drove. But OH the memories!!!
-the cruise to Honduras, Belize, and Cozumel in May was a little bittersweet since Tommy couldn't go, but ended up being perfect otherwise! I wouldn't trade those 7 nights with Mary Peyton and Mary Key for anything!!!
-watching your little girl play a sport that she loves brings a TON of joy to your heart! Seeing her work ethic and determination to get better challenges me, too!
-when friends get married at the beach and you haven't been anywhere without your child in 6 years, it turns into one of the best trips ever. Not to mention the friends of Tommy's that were there are some of the best people I know. I so love his class!!!
-family trips to the beach are always a good time! It does sometimes reaffirm to Mary Peyton that she likes being an only child, though!
-a week away at camp in the summer is some of the best times and best memories. But when it's your child that's going and not you, tears will likely be shed. By you. At least if said child is also your best little friend and most fun sidekick!
-last minute trips to rosemary beach can make even starting back to school not such a bad thing. Lots of problems are solved by just slowing down and getting away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and sitting on the shore. I'm so glad God gave us such beautiful places to make the oceans stop!
-football season tends to bring some of our families biggest memories. Some good. Some bad. But all memories that we share together.
