Just another manic Monday-I mean Saturday!

I don't even know where to start with today. Except to say that it's still not over!  Here's a recap. Why?  I don't know. Just seems like the thing to do!  Plus, I can include a few pictures!  Win-win!

Tommy had to work this morning, so I went ahead and got up when he did. I've got sinus drainage, a cough, and just somewhat feel blah. But a mama has to just smile and keep going, right?  And so I do!

I had to get a cake decorated and delivered early, so that was priority right after waking up.

Mary Peyton's sweet little best friend had a spend the night party last night and we had a group "pick up", so I ran to town after taking the cake to the birthday boy's mom!

Next up was the post office. My goodness. Y'all, I love a handwritten letter. I love a package. I even love looking at the different stamps. But I loathe standing in line at the post office. Because it's worse than Wal-Mart. 4 lanes, but only 1 open. But I did it. Mailed clothes to a friend in South Carolina and a package to another precious friend in Missouri. Ok. If not for the headache of the post office, I would love going in there (as in: open about 3 lanes!). Giving gifts is something I LOVE to do. And a package in the mail always brightens a day!

Ok-enough about that. We then rushed back home to get another cake finished!  One of my best friends was giving a shower for her life long BFF. Of course I jump on the chance to make a cake!  Here it is!

While I was doing that, MP changed clothes and got ready for Upward basketball!  After taking the cake for the shower and helping set up as much as I could (time wise), we rushed off for our first game!

Mary Peyton did SO well today in her game. It makes my heart smile to see her be successful in something God has gifted her with and that she has worked so hard on!

After the game (Tommy met us at the game after work), we rushed to the house to change clothes and head to JA for a big night of basketball there!  It was Prep night and our Raiders and Lady Raiders both pulled out victories!

Wing Stop, gas, see our old bridge at Gluckstadt blown up, and home. Whew!

Hope y'all are having a great weekend!!!
