yesterday afternoon, we made our trek north for a crawfish party at one of my very best childhood friends shop. it's always so relaxed and fun. lots of laughs and catching up!

as i said on instagram, when you see this cup, i am either missing the Delta or headed there! and i'm so glad that this time it was the latter!
poor little guy...he tried, unsuccessfully, to get away. he was just a part of the 200 pounds of crawfish that was cooked! along with corn, potatoes, mushrooms, sausage, and brussel sprouts!
my baby girl. she loves crawfish! and it's pretty nice, because she will stand by me, talk, and peel/eat her own!!!
nora and mp. they have so much fun together! i took a picture of them similar to this one last year, too. guess we will make it a tradition!
quite possibly my favorite from last night. and the only time we have taken one like this! left to right: nora, me, mp, nolan, and michael. michael was one of my very best friends growing up. i so love that our kids are friends, too! just wish we were here so they could be closer! BUT, thank goodness for facebook - they can at least still "see" each other!
