lately...

in.  a.  rut.

well, or making tons of ruts while running on a hampster wheel going nowhere in this thing called life.

ya'll, it kicked my tail.  

of course there was work.  but the hours outside of 8:00-5:00 were crammed full of errands that just had to be done!  thank goodness i'm quite the multitasker.  well, that and the fact that i can semi-function on very little sleep!  

my good friend and co-worker, payton, even said about my beloved planner (yes, i have one i WRITE in...so?), "don't even show me that thing.  you just do TOO much".  ahh...truer words may have never been spoken.

SO - from now until the end of the year, i plan to do what I want to do - not always what the calendar deems "has" to be done!

i did get a new book yesterday that i plan to read asap.  a dear friend (and spanish/latin teacher at JA), mrs mckeigney, HIGHLY recommended it.  and when the homecoming queen came by, overheard us, and chimed in that it was one of the best books she read, that sealed it.

i bought this yesterday afternoon...

now to find time to read it!  oh yeah - that's where the ME time comes in, right?
