our 2012 in pictures.....

since i didn't do near as many posts in 2012 as i had wanted, here are some pictures to highlight our year!

(WARNING: TONS of pictures in this post!!! which means, you MUST comment if you make it all the way through - i mean - you might deserve a prize!!!)

 everything started at the beach.....our Christmas trip for 2011/2012 was a trip to rosemary beach.  FUN times with friends from tallahassee, florida!

 mary peyton started playing upward basketball...

 and this guy was one of her coaches!  ;-)

 we lost a most precious friend (and one of mary peyton's coaches) to cancer - scott branning (also known as coach branning or "cb")...

 mp was a little accent...

 and loved every minute of it!!!

these two finally tied the knot!

 and every detail of the wedding was amazing!!!

 but we were slightly "blinded by their love"!  ha!

 Easter came along...

 and big daddy bought a new harley, so this "old" one is now mary peyton's.  i so wish i was kidding...but i'm not...

 we also hunted Easter eggs at b.b.'s house!

 our first ever field day wore her out!

 and we got to hang out with jeremy and josh at ole miss!

 julz made a quick visit home with john david when her grandmother passed away...

 it was a bittersweet time, but we were glad to see her!

 mary peyton was a cheerleader for the first grade play...

 and won an art award on awards day!

 her painting placed in the district! yea!

 we absolutely LOVED our first grade teacher, mrs wright!

 my favorite little girl turned 7 and had an awesome "Help" inspired bridge club party at brent's!

 first grade came to an end :-(

 we went to arkansas for a debutante party (how there are no pictures from it, i don't know!)

 a new puppy, river, joined our family!

 north greenwood baptist church had their vbs!

 and of course our annual birthday trip to the alluvian!

 just a fun relaxing time with my favorite!

 summer showoffs were here again!

 and mary peyton grew her very first tomato! (which was VERY good!)

 the annual beach trip with the fam came and went...

 and first methodist church in greenwood had vbs, too!

 mp went with this crew (there were more!) to branson and rode more rides than her daddy could stand!

 while she was in missouri, i was hanging out at the women's football forum!

 but it's always good to get back home to our "babies"!

 another trip (our family vacation) to the beach happened - and our bff's, the foster's, went with us!

 then it was time for school again (where did summer go???)

 mp wanted to play soccer, so we did (she's #5 on the right)

 and julz came home again! (she's having baby #2 and had to come while it was still a "safe" time)

 matthew was in homecoming court...

 and our soccer team finished undefeated!

 ole miss football was in full swing (and a much better year this year!).  this picture is mary peyton with chucky mullins' family...

 we carved some pumpkins...

 and i made my little owl a costume...

 we had a great time at the JA carnival, as always!

 and she was a little accent again! (she has on the black leggings)

 we trick or treated for the first time ever (shocking, i know!)

 and little dribblers came along!

 basketball season is back in full swing!

 as is another year of being eubie's sidekick!

 we learned all about squanto and celebrated with a feast at school!

 then celebrated thanksgiving!

BIG PAUSE - i can't find a picture on my camera from bingo and michael's wedding!  but right after thanksgiving, we had an AMAZING wedding that mary peyton and i were both in!!!

 we went down to moss point to see our other family - the richardson's!

 and talked about how neat it is that God used a 3 year old little girl and a career ending injury of an awesome college football player to bring our families together!

 the tree was put up - ok...actually 6...don't judge...

 and the precious girls in our class gathered for the annual cookie swap!

 we welcomed the mom of a classmate home!!!

 had Christmas with gran-gran and paw-paw...

 then with bubs and millie!

 Christmas Eve was our usual - Christmas with the britt's!  what would we do without them!?!?!?! and our wilson (on the left by me) FINALLY proposed to stella (aka "baula") after she graduated from ole miss!!!

then the Christmas trip 2012/2013 started - after a night east of birmingham, we took mary peyton to the varsity in atlanta!

 before going to the american girl store to get ANOTHER bitty baby!

 we went by clemson to see their campus!  their football field is also called death valley (like LSU).  and the rock that is encased in front of mary peyton is called "howard's rock" and is from death valley, california.

 we also went by t.l. hanna high school in anderson, south carolina, where the movie Radio is based!

 and when we got to asheville, north carolina, it was snowing!!!

 we toured the biltmore...

 then met friends we haven't seen in YEARS, ben and haley, at tupelo honey for dinner!

 mary peyton and i went to the top of chimney rock (the lake behind us is lake lure - where dirty dancing was filmed.  the last of the mohicans was filmed on chimney rock!) but tommy didn't go quite to the top (he HATES heights!)

 we had a wonderful new year's eve together!
