it's no big surprise that i love traditions. lots of them. from holidays to things to do with school to which doll goes on vacations and trips with us. yeah - i'm a little strange like that.
but i'm sure if it bothers you, you'll be over it in a few minutes!
one of my FAVORITE traditions that we started when mary peyton turned 4 was coming to the alluvian hotel for her birthday. i'm not sure who looks forward to the trip more - mary peyton or me!
the first year (2009), i casually snapped a picture of mary peyton one of the 3 beautiful windows in our room (which, by the way, is the SAME room every year....traditions, remember?). i didn't realize until after i took it how much i loved the picture! thus the tradition of the "window picture" began!
mary peyton doesn't even question the picture now - she knows we are going to take it and she doesn't argue it! i think she may just like it because she doesn't have to smile or anything! =)
below are each of the 4 years. i can't wait to watch my baby grow up through these pictures!
