i really haven't taken a ton of pictures with my camera on this trip. i've taken a million mental pictures, though! i decided that i would rather enjoy the time with mary peyton than to constantly worry about getting the perfect picture. and enjoying the time right now includes getting in water, so it doesn't make taking pictures very easy anyway! :-)

one of the pictures of our feet in the sand! mary peyton's toenails are painted alternating colors - purple and blue. mine are all blue. i'm pretty sure my daddy doesn't approve ;-)
ok - on this one i played around with editing. mary peyton found these alligator toys that had been left down at the beach and was playing with them. i thought it was cute!

i so enjoyed the time with mary peyton today. while everyone was napping, watching tv, hanging out, etc., she and i decided to go back down to the beach. just the two of us. we talked. she buried my feet in the sand. she floated around in the ocean by herself. i read part of my book. we walked. we talked about how God makes the waves stop at a certain point. we watched the sun begin to descend on another beautiful day. we agreed that she is my best girl and i'm her best mom.
and i thanked God that He chose me to have such an amazing little girl for a period of time...
