since i never finished the pictures from the beach, i thought i'd go ahead and share some more!
we had such a good time! turquoise place was amazing - there was something for everyone to do! of course on saturday of the trip (we left on monday), brook was stung by a sting ray. i may have said it in an earlier post, but i'm not sure. anyway, he went straight to the urgent care center where he got a shot and was put on antibiotics (after keeping his foot in the hottest water he could stand for one hour). last monday, he went to the er because his foot was still looking bad. more antibiotics. tuesday he went back because it was getting a lot worse (there are pics on facebook....i probably should have swiped them and posted with this info, but i didn't). they gave him iv antibiotics and said he would need to come in every 12 hours for treatment. well, on wednesday, they decided to keep him and do a little surgery.
he is still in the hospital.
so if you go to the beach, just be careful and be aware. it was a total freak accident, but it did happen. so keep him in your prayers, please! hopefully they will go home tomorrow.
