next friday, mary peyton and i will be going with friends to thalia mara to see this!
i can't wait!!! growing up i loved the wizard of oz. i can remember the wicked witch scaring me half to death! i would always find a reason to not be in the room when she came on the tv - especially the part of her looking in the crystal ball. it spooked me out!
recently - in the past 6 months or so - mary peyton has grown to also love dorothy and her friends. she loves the ruby red slippers and calls her own red shoes her "dorothy shoes". so cute!
two years ago, tommy and i went with my sweet friend, ashley, and her husband, kurt, to see this at thalia mara
i said then that we would try to go to more plays, etc., when they were here and we just haven't. not that we don't want to - we just haven't been able to for one reason or another!
i'll let you know how it goes! i can't wait to see the production - and mary peyton is beyond excited!

I was just like you when I was little. The witch scared me to death too, but the flying monkeys also scared me to pieces.
