A few weeks ago, she was hurting in her chest and thought it was her heart. After stress tests and a full body scan, her dr found an area about the size of an english pea on her left lung.
On one hand, he didn't seem very concerned. But on the other, he was concerned. He told her to follow up with her oncologist as soon as possible. Mama called and it would be three weeks, so she made an appointment. Later that day, she got a call from her oncologist's office saying that her dr called and they wanted to see her in a week.
So if you think about it or have time to say a quick prayer, please do. When I was in 7th grade, she had a malignancy in her appendix that was caught before chemotherapy and radiation were needed. But she still had to go for bloodwork, etc, until they claimed she was in remission. She has lost grandparents, aunts and uncles, her mom and dad, and even a sister to cancer, so this makes it scary for not only her but all of us.

The possibility of cancer is always and hard and emotional time for everyone. You can rest on the fact that the easley family will be praying daily for all of you. Love you.
