I promise I am still here!!!

Last week our computer died.  Now I won't say that it completely DIED because I can try to turn it on, etc. and lights come on, but the screen doesn't boot up.

Tommy googled the problem and undoubtedly it's more common than we thought.  Not that that helps anything....

The only things I really want off of the computer are my February pictures.  I had already backed up January, but not February.  So we are hoping that that information can be retrieved....

Anyway - I made the switch.  I now have a Mac.  I have not talked to anyone who has gone from a PC to a Mac who regrets it, so we're giving this a try!  

Once I get the hang of it, I think I will be fine.  Just a learning curve!  And we have enough Mac owning friends that I will be giving some of them calls with trouble shooting!
