Happy (late) Anniversary, Julz and Mark!

two years (and one day!) ago i was able to be part of one of the most important days of these precious friends lives.  it's hard to believe, though, that it has been 2 years since julia and mark got married!  time is flying!

if you want to read more about their wedding, etc., you'll have to go through my archives to march 2007.  it's all there.  the wedding was awesome - so much fun!  and mary peyton was the cutest flower girl ever!  just skipping barefoot down the aisle as flower petals bounced out of her basket that was on her arm like a purse!  a picture of her as the flower girl is always on my blog - in the column to the right!

julia will be home in a few weeks for her brother's wedding.  i can't wait to see her then, too.  it's amazing how mary peyton knows julia even though she is so far away (most of you know, but some may not - mark is from south africa and they live in johannesburg - TOO FAR AWAY!).  i've tried to make a big deal out of julia - i mean, she IS a big deal - but moreso because she is mary peyton's Godmother.  

they share a special relationship that is just between them.  i share the same type of relationship with my Godmother, myra.  she and i may not talk for months and months, but when we do, the relationship has not changed at all.  it's already the same way with julz and mary peyton.  and i pray that always continues.

anyway - CONGRATS, MR AND MRS MARK BECKING!  here's to many many more.....but can some of those be on THIS SIDE of the big pond?  =)
