oh mrs katrice.....

i've got a few blog posts to do, but i want to put this up real quick.

mary peyton has learned God Bless America and loves to sing it. about 2 minutes ago she started singing and i joined her.

after telling me to stop, here was our conversation:

me: "mommies can't sing God Bless America?"

mpb: "no ma'am. only boys and girls."

me: "so what can mommies do?"

mpb: "they can go to work or run by the bank."

i also told her that i was sorry and she said, "it's o.k., mommy. just don't do it again."

now we see what she is learning from katrice (although the "just don't do it again" is from me and tommy...)!
