i woke up bright and early and started e-mailing. and it's a good thing i did! a few minutes later my phone rang - and showed up as "Julz and Mark"! what a way to start valentine's day! i had sent her an e-mail, so she knew i was up!
we've gotten up and everybody is ready but me - go figure. mary peyton loved her valentine's present - a sleeping beauty barbie with a bed that turns into a throne. i mean really - does it get any better!?! =)

mary peyton and i went to mccomb yesterday to watch the pillow girls and mra boys play basketball. both won. but the boys was bittersweet - they were playing pillow....
when we got home, tommy had my valentine's out on the kitchen counter - roses, cards, and a box of whoppers - some of my favorite candy!
but a few weeks ago, he got me this - and it's my big valentine's gift. we were at an antique show and the lady was packing up getting ready to go back home. the bracelet is from the early 1900's and is something that i fell in love with. because she was getting ready to go and everything, she sold it to us at 1/2 the price on the sticker!
today we are going to go get breakfast/brunch at cracker barrell and head back to mccomb to watch some more basketball - but this time tommy gets to go with us!
oh - and i had to include this picture of mary peyton and her new friend, evy. my sweet friend, ashley, and her husband kurt welcomed evy kate lancaster on monday. i got there not long after she was born and took some sweet pictures....i'll post those later - or you can go to ashley's blog (look over to the right!) and see some of them. she is such a little angel!
hope you have a WONDERFUL valentine's day!!!
