so this morning, tommy, mary peyton, and i headed to a place that a friend suggested - jammin' biniets. it's in ridgeland right behind ro' chez and is so good. granted, it's no cafe du monde, but it's still good!
after this, i went to an estate auction in country club (we went into town in 2 cars). it was actually for a patient of mine who had passed away last year.
i got some "new" chairs for our kitchen table - they are so old and i love them.
i also got this chair. it is very sturdy and i'm going to have the seat redone/recovered once i decide where in the house i'm going to put it! but for $20, i couldn't pass it up!!!
i also got this rug. it was in their kitchen, but i have it in our den covering most of the horrible spots that cover our carpet. i paid a good bit for it, but it was something i've been wanting for a long time.
i ended up with a few other things, but these are the major things.
today has been such a good day - nothing in particular to do.....just going with the flow. i love saturdays like that!

Love the rug! I love going to sales like that. Last year a friend of ours had a sale and she had a couch that I wanted so much, but I didn't have a place to put it. I still think about that crazy couch. It was just so unusual!
I thought about you yesterday morning when I checked my e-mail and had two e-mails for estate sales in Jackson.
One of these days I will actually go to my first estate sale!
