Some of my favorites....

my sweet friend, ashley, did this on her blog, so i decided to do one - i don't know that i've ever done a little "quiz" like this before.....

1. Clothes Shop - this depends. before i had mary peyton, almost everything i had was ann taylor - i love the classic look that they offer. and if i can lose a little weight, all of those clothes will fit again....uuuugggghhhh!!!! so right now, my favorite clothes shop is whatever fits and feels/looks good!

2. Furniture Shop - i don't necessarily like to shop a certain store. i like antiques (not that i can afford the big grand ones that i would love to have!), so i enjoy going to estate sales and antique malls seeing what kind of treasures i can find!

3. City - good grief.

minter city - home. security. peace. when i think about home, i just have a soft spot. you all know that. there's something about growing up where 3 other generations have lived and being around family all of the time (whether it's minter city, greenwood, itta bena...). i love the delta - surprised, right? ha. i hope that mary peyton can experience this at some point...

carmel - i loved the cute little shops (some way overpriced, but still cute!) and just the atmosphere of this town.

some that i loved traveling to, but could not live in -

london/paris - hopefully (one day) i can drug tommy, get him on a plane, and take him there! i went in the 10th grade and was mesmerized by everything we saw! i would love to go back as an adult and truly appreciate what i was being able to do!

new york - tommy absolutely loves new york - he's been several times more than i have (and got to sing in carnegie hall twice!). i've only been once - a 9 day trip that was a blast. there is so much to see - i want to go back and do it again!

4. Sweet - i love lemon filo cups from yianni's in greenwood! of course, i also love granny's chocolate pie - i usually snag some of it during holidays when we are at the britt's!

5. Drink - water with lemon! i try to get it (almost) every time we are out to eat, etc. i like sweet tea - of course - but don't "have" to have it.

6. Music - in the car, we listen mostly to contemporary Christian (93.5). i like to turn on jazz just to hang around the house - i'm no expert and don't know the artists, but i like the sound! i enjoy harry connick, jr.

7. TV - the office, one tree hill, young & restless (my guilty pleasure!), different talk shows - depends on the topic that day!

8. Film - chick flicks. i enjoyed hairspray on broadway, but haven't seen the movie! i loved mama mia!

9. Workout - i enjoy yoga - when i have time to do it. i've done pilates in the past. i like walking - here again, when i can find the time in the day to do this for myself! good grief - i need to step it up!

10. Pastries - crepes. i wish we had a crepery here. these things are so good!

11. Coffee - iced or hot caramel macchiato from starbucks. YUM!
