well?

we were on our way home today having one of our sweet conversations that we have. i told mary peyton that her daddy was at home and was fixing us supper.

her eyebrows squinted and she thought for a minute.

then she said, "well? are we having hot dogs or chicken?"

all i could do is laugh - if only all of you knew how true and real that one is! but this time it was wrong - tommy had cooked a pot roast in the crock pot while he was home. in between cleaning the bathrooms, cleaning the kitchen, doing laundry, and stripping the bed!

yes, i am spoiled....

I took food today to a family in our Lifegroup who had a baby. Hudson asked "why are we bringing them supper?" I said because Jesus wants us to take care of others when they are sick or don't have time to cook for their family like when a mommy needs to take care of their new baby. He thought for a moment and said, "why then doesn't the daddy cook? My daddy cooks." Jeff loved that comment!
