my sweet husband.....

some of you may be like me - you look and look and look for "the" purse. sometimes it doesn't take long and other times it takes forever.

well, back in may, i bought a purse at target to "make do" until i could find "the" purse. a few weeks ago i found it. THE purse. which is really odd because i found it online (on sale!) and wasn't able to try it on.

yes, try it on.

you know how we do - put it on our shoulder, hang it by our leg, etc., etc. tommy loves to imitate the way women do.

well, it was on sale (50% off) on the company's website through the end of september. i kept putting it off and wouldn't order it. i woke up on october 1 and went to the site. i guess thinking that maybe their system would have had a glich and i could still get it 50% off.

no such luck. so i gave up. and decided to start a search for another purse.

fast forward to yesterday afternoon. i picked up mpb and we met tommy at the mall for them to eat (a waiting period for me until i had to go to katrice's to sub for bunko). tommy comes to the car to get mary peyton out and has a box.

he said, "this came to my office, but it's not for me"
i said, "what IS it?"

he said, "i don't know - open it"

i did and it was my purse!!!! only mine is the "honey" color - a golden brown...

so i just had to brag on my husband a little bit this morning!
