Ole Miss vs Memphis

thank goodness saturday FINALLY got here! if you know our family at all, you know that we LIVE for football season. to the point that (if you are an "old" reader of my blog, you know this already) we planned mary peyton around football season. literally.

so saturday morning, we were up and ready to go! kurt came and rode with us (ashley is in cape this weekend...).

we were in the grove in our tent by 11:00 or so. traffic - even that early - was a little busy with all of the people evacuating the coast. we moved to a new spot this year and the kids had all kinds of room to run around. it was great. we also have a dish (or direct tv - whatever) and tv this year. so - football was on all day!

me and my angel. she is such a precious gift (yes, even when she is whining - i don't know who thought they'd label the 2's "terrible" because the 3's are SO much worse than the 2's! and most all of my friends have confirmed this!)

how quick our group grew! in 2003, it was just me, holly, tommy, and neal. in 2004, mac was added to the group. in 2005, mpb was added to the group. and in 2006, south was added to the group. no activity since then!!!!!

as i said in my earlier post, the rebels won, so it was a good day. (and according to tommy, it was better since the bulldogs lost - to my state fan friends/readers, please don't blame me for that one! i pull for state, having grown up a state fan and all...).
