mary peyton has talked about a few new friends in her class. for a few days, she told us that she didn't have any friends and that mrs. katrice was her best friend at JA.
well, that's changed some.
now she talks about sarah. and allie. sometimes banks. and imahni is always mentioned.
tonight at dinner, the conversation went like this:
mommy: "mary peyton, who did you play with today?"
mpb: "imahni"
daddy: "did you tell her bye when we were leaving?"
mpb: "yes, sir"
~pause~
mpb: "imahni is black. and has white shoes. and her loves me TOO much"
it was so precious hearing her say it. i'm so glad she has a friend who loves her "TOO" much!
