in case you care - and because i was curious - i have put down how much i saved, but i haven't put how much i've spent...
$766.01 - spent
$766.01 - spent
$1177.46 - saved
WHICH IS A 61% SAVINGS!!!!!
i had been wanting to figure this up, but put it off until now! these are figures for may, june, july. so i guess we are averaging about $255/month on groceries/household items/toiletries/etc.
and we are limiting ourselves to eating out once/week. well - twice - we always go out to eat on sunday's after church and then sometimes once for supper during the week.
not too bad!!!
now my goal is to get it down to a 70% savings!!!

Way to go!!
It was raining so hard after church that we came straight home. I didn't get a paper.
I'll have to pick one up tonight so I can get my coupons and get organized before tomorrow.
I am really thinking about trying the Grocery Game and using coupons. At least it would make the $15 I spend on the newspaper each week worth it. Do you do CVS, Walgreens, and Kroger?
Suzanne!!!! This is awesome. A friend of mine was trying to teach me how to do CVS last week and I must be dumb!!! I have never cut coupons before, but I headed to wal-mart yesterday for 3 papers ($.99) and the All You magazine. I'm trying so I might be writing you with quetions!!!!
