tomorrow starts mary peyton's 2nd week of k-3.
she's excited at times and not so excited other times.
last week was good (i think - right, katrice???). the first day, she did not bat an eye. it was raining and the teacher got her out and took her right in. mary peyton never looked back.
wednesday was another story. i got a text from tommy around 8:15 that said that mary peyton went insane when the teacher went to get her out. thursday morning, i took her. on the way, she was fine - no problems! but when we got there, she said, "mommy i just don't want that lady to get me out! i want YOU take me in!".
tommy said that friday morning went a little better.
katrice says that she is fine once she gets in her room. i hope that she's not sugar coating it!!!
tomorrow mary peyton has the "special snack". this is rotated among the children every monday. i've got capri suns, sliced fuji apples, and pretzel rods dipped in white chocolate with sprinkles. hopefully the kids will like it. mary peyton likes it all, so i guess that's the most important thing, right?
hope you all have a great week! i've got some cute pictures that i'll get posted this week.....

Can I come for snack too? That sounds so yummy!
Starting school is so tough!
Hi Suzanne, I found you through some mutual friends in the blog world. I've got a little one in 4K at JA. You're not alone! Mine was fine with getting out on his own the first day but it all went downhill the next couple of days. Today was better but he's still unsure about someone other than me getting him out of the car. Good luck!
Nolan is having a wonderful time in his new class. I think he likes the circle groups. I guess that is like centers at big school. anyway, he is having a hard time with the new Sunday School class though. When we drop him off they are in singing and he just isn't into it. So we leaving him yelling "COME AND GET ME MOMMY". I bet it is different letting someone else take your child out. Mamie loves letting the teachers take her out. She says she feels special... Hey, can I come for snacks as well???
I know Mary P is enjoying it! My Mary starts St. James in Sept. I just can't believe they are getting that old! How long do they stay to? 11:30?
