just 2 things.....
1) last week when we were at cock of the walk eating with julia's family, tommy took a picture of me and julz (see pictures in previous post below). when we got in the car, i was looking at the pictures on the camera and showing them to tommy. we were saying how good the picture of julia and me is when we hear a little voice from the backseat pipe up and say, "mommy, you gonna put that picture on facebook?". we looked at each other speechless. facebook? tommy responded with, "no, baby, it's going on the blog.". to which she replied, "oh. the 'bog'". wow.
2) mary peyton, for about the past week or so, has started asking for "pickles" when we open the fridge or freezer. neither of us could understand at all what she was talking about. well, today while tommy was in the bathroom, he yelled out, "i think i know what 'pickles' are". "what?" i asked. he replied, "popsicles!". sure enough, i went in the kitchen and took a popsicle out and asked mpb if that is what she wanted. she smiled big and said, "yes - pickles!". who would have known?

o.k. i am laughing. when mamie was about 2 or 3 she was with my parents i think at my nephew's little league baseball game. she told my dad that she wanted some alligator. well, mom and dad couldn't figure out what it was, she just kept saying i want some alligator and pointing at the ice chest. well finally dad took her to the ice chest and she said alligator papaw and held up a gatorade. dad said boy you should have seen her face when we couldn't figure out what she was talking about.
Thank you for providing my ENTIRE family with a good laugh!! That is priceless!!!!
By the way...Banana just informed me that I should have typed, "LOL". Whatever.
Hope ya'll have a blast on your trip!! Maybe i can surprise Will one day! Have fun in Miami!!!
I loved those two little stories!! All of us moms with toddlers can SO relate to their own little language! And the facebook one is priceless. I can totally relate!! "Quick, take a picture for mommy! It'll go on the blog!!!" :)
Are you in Miami now? I went to the playground last night with the three year olds for Mission Friends and MPB ran up to me and gave me the sweetest hug and kiss...sweaty but so sweet!ha! She had been playing hard! Anyway I said where's your mommma and she said "in the reading room". I had no idea what that meant and neither did Mrs. Gayle. So...if you are in the reading room or in Miami have a GREAT time!ha!ha!
so funny! love hearing all mp has to say! i can't wait for ella to talk!
