my sweet mpb

thought i would have a mary peyton post. there are a few things she says that crack me and tommy up. here are some:

~barbie bassett is now "barbie basket"
~hannah montana is "hannah nontana"
~strawberries are "strawbabies"
~all babies that are girls are "sanders" (our friend's little girl's name)
~boy babies are "parker" (the name that cory and jenny are giving their little boy)
~stella is "baula" (but most of you knew that....)
~paper towels are really toilet paper
~vitamins are "bitamins"
~if you're happy and you know it is "happy know it'
~the computer is the "puter"
~chick-fil-a is "chick fu' le" (are we french?)
~cinderella is "cindy rolla"
~my ipod is a "high pod"
~cereal is "cidio"
~lipstick is "likstik"
~ole miss is "o miss"

other stuff:

~we love to go potty - all by ourself.
~the bookstore is great - especially when coffee is involved
~we can't start playing soccer soon enough (below was one of mary key's games - mpb was so proud to get to kick the ball around!)

~or basketball
~we bribed mary peyton to get her potty trained....we told her that she could not go to JA until she tee-teed and poo-pooed in the potty. a day and a half later, we were through!
~friday nights, she KNOWS we are going to go get ice cream with "mista coe-wee"

~she loves to go to big daddy's and ride the 4-wheeler with her daddy
~she loves playing outside (the picture below was on Easter and those are my overalls - notice SMS monogrammed down the back leg!)


~she loves to lay in the bed with her arms all around tiger
~a trip to the doctor "must" mean that they are going to cut you...
~unlike her daddy, she's not a picky eater - i can find something for her anywhere we go! (below is at p.f. changs - a girl's day with tommy's mom/me/mpb)


~she LOVES baths. and would play in there most of the night if we let her
~she in obsessed with the wlbt newscast - and can name all of them: maggie, rob jay (emphasize JAY), barbie "basket" (or mrs joANNA), and she calls howard rob jay, too. the world stops when the news comes on. do we see something in broadcast journalism in the future?
~every morning, she has to have her "cidio" and juice
~sometimes i have to bribe her with "likstik" to stay at big girl school
~she has a lot of favorite people - i hate to even list them with fear that i will leave somebody out!
~she loves going to greenwood and can tell you people who live there
~she loves ole miss and begs to go there....too bad it's still a few months until football season...
~when tommy asks her if he needs to get the spoon, she tells him, "no, daddy. stay. stay, daddy".

i know there are TONS of things i'm leaving out....i'll have to update this sometime.....

she is growing up entirely too fast.

a quote that several patients have said to me keeps coming to mind:
"THE DAYS ARE LONG, BUT THE YEARS ARE SHORT"

how true it is. in just over a month, my sweet baby will be 3 years old.......
