glenn, since i know you read sometimes, i wanted to address this, too.
not a year goes by that i don't think about your precious grandfather, mr leavell, on april 6th.
for those of you who don't know - glenn has been a friend of mine since we were little. her mama grew up with my daddy in minter city. my daddy rented land from her grandfather (mr leavell) when i was little. crump was born on mr leavell's birthday.
the leavell's were one of the sweetest couples i knew. i always loved going by their house! especially in the summer when they would let us come swim. i even showed my daddy how i had learned how to swim in their pool!
mr leavell drove a blue chevrolet truck. he would come down in the fields and hang out when daddy was on the tractor. he and crump shared april 6th. so i just always think about him when i think about crump's birthday.
anyway, glenn - i just wanted you to know that i have been thinking about mr leavell again this year. just as i do every year. your family is very special to us!
